I had a NanoKey made by Korg and the keys popped off while in my laptop bag. I couldn't get them back on so I had to throw it away. Does anyone have experience with the NanoKey 2 or another highly portable controller? I am also intrigued by the akai mpk mini. Thoughts?

There are lots of great options available. Can you be more specific describing what you will use it with etc? You probably will want something that has decent size pads on it. Do you play keys at all or just drums?

Just drums, I run all of our loops. Believe it or not I have been using a small Akai Keyboard to trigger them while playing the drums. Its been working good, but every once in a while I will slip and trigger the wrong key lol, and you know what happens after that haha. I would like to have something I can hit rather than have to touch.
