Can't find any info on this brand new interface, but I bought it and none of my iPads will even recognize the interface. Does anyone know if this product even supports ios? absolutely no info on this product anywhere. I feel like the only person who has purchased it haha because no one is talking about it

Also doesn't help my first one didn't even turn on and had to send it back. (Great Start)

Hey Lance!

This should support iOS, but just in case, I would reach out to iConnectivity's support team and see if they have any info on troubleshooting. Hope this helps.

Any updates on this thread? Was considering switching from my Presonus 1818vsl to the PlayAudio12 until I read this!

Hey Brad, after alot of struggle with very little info being out there we finally got the PlayAudio12 working properly with the iPad. It does the job well and the quality is great but it definitely was more of a struggle than we were looking to deal with

The biggest thing seemed to be routing. There are definitely some things that need to be set up while the interface is plugged into a computer.

Also this device WILL NOT charge your source. We solved this by getting the Apple camera connector that also includes the charging port. (I believe the lightning to USB 3 camera adapter worked)

on top of that the cable that they sell that goes usb to lightning DOES NOT WORK. This was a super disappointing thing to find out after purchasing the cable separately

Hey friends. I actually do all the support for iConnectivity worldwide.

Our PlayAUDIO12 is probably one of most popular devices at the moment. Large artists are using it on their tours around the globe. Artists like Kendrick Lamar, James Bay, Florence + the Machine, etc.. There are probably 50-100 major artists who have jumped to using this piece live now.

The PlayAUDIO12 was aimed towards the touring live rig where you have a redundant system.

In saying this the PlayAUDIO12 definitely works with iOS. You will want to use a USB3 Apple Camera Connection Kit (has the charger port on it). This will allow your iPad to be charged and work with the PA12.
The default routings are sceneA sends all 12 outs from USB Device 1 and scene B sends all 12 outs from USB 2. You can create mixes for this between the two programs. In order to create a mixure you will want to use our iConfig program on a computer (windows, Mac). We are working to create/replace our iOS application in the future as our applications currently are not functioning.

Hopefully this helps clear things up.
Also don't be afraid to contact our support channel.

When I said "currently not functioning" I meant just on iOS and only for now.

Thanks for the info. It is an intriguing interface but I’ll stick with my Presonus 1818vsl for the time being. I considered trying out a Behringer FCA1616 simply be because it’s so much cheaper, but my Presonus isn’t giving me any problems at the moment, so I’m safe to stick with it! Thanks again!
