I uploaded a song purchased elsewhere into PRIME, but after adding markers, I get the LC Cues and Click at a different tempo than the song. Tried to upload it again and "fool" it by calling the Click from the song "FX", but there's no way to change the pan on the FX channel. I saw the response about how to fix this in Ableton, but I don't have Ableton. PRIME will do everything I want and need if we can solve this issue, for the cost of the multi-tracks.
Is the track you're uploading to PRIME recorded at a tempo that is a 1/2 marking? For example, is the bpm something like 72.5? If so, the tempo won't work and you'll need to make sure the tempo is a whole number. You can always email us at email@example.com and we can help you resolve! =)
To answer your question, the marking was 76. But I was able to "fix" it by clicking the gear on the top right of the player and make sure that "Generate Click Dynamically" was off. Lauren Daigle's "How Can It Be?" sounds interesting with the music playing at a different tempo than the generated click... LOL!! I uploaded the files six times - twice at 76 (the second time, I called the click "FX", but couldn't change the pan of that channel, or that would have worked), once at 78, once at 74, then once at 75 until I realized that turning off the Generate Click Dynamically solved my problem at 76 bpm. All is right in the world of David! At least for the time being!
Awesome! The "Generate Click Dynamically" is a relatively new feature to PRIME that allow the click and cues to be generated inside of PRIME rather than "listening" to the stems that you uploaded for those files. You can also sub-divide the click's timing and choose different click sounds that you like all within PRIME! =)
