Hey guys,

I am really new to loops and using them live so I have a question.

Is there a way that I can load pads that I bought from somewhere else into prime for iPad?

Sorry if this is a really easy fix and answer but I am still trying to figure this thing out.

Thanks!

Daniel

Hi Daniel, I've done this a couple of times. To just have the pad you would upload it like any other file here on the site, just click the upload link and follow the instructions. If you want a click track with the pad you have to make that ahead of time and upload them together. What I've done is create a couple different click tracks in Ableton at various BPM then I can zip the click and pad files together and upload them. One of the great things with Prime is that you can adjust BPM up or down ~10bpm so you don't have to create separate files for every different speed. You can do a similar thing with your pads since you can adjust the key in Prime as well. This saves you from uploading every different key/bpm combination you use.

Hey Kayla!

Any WAV audio files will upload to PRIME and work flawlessly. Just follow the instructions on the uploader page and it will show up in your PRIME account. Make sure to change the "guide.wav" track to "cues.wav" if you are importing from MultiTracks.com.

We're glad you're a part of the community!

I'm having trouble getting an already made split track uploaded into prime. It's just one file with the click to the left and the track to the right. I've tried naming multiple different ways like the instructions say on the import page but it keeps uploading with both right down the center. Any ideas?

Hey Matt!

Make sure your SplitTrack is pre-panned with Click/Cues left and Track right. Export the audio file out of your DAW as a wav and name it "SONGTITLE_SPLIT.wav". Compress that file into a zip folder and rename the zip folder to "SONGTITLE.zip" and upload that through the PRIME uploader, following the uploader instructions and you should see it in PRIME within a few minutes. Hope this helps.

Thanks Jason I figured out the error. I wasn't submitting the song that's why I never saw it lol.

I have uploaded my zip file to my prime cloud several times. I did eight different files total. Most of them went through almost immediately after I hit "submit." A couple of them I eventually re-uploaded, and then they worked. I have one that has still not processed.

How long does this take? Am I doing something wrong?

Hey Adam,

The PRIME uploader typically takes around 5-10 minutes before you receive the email notification. It can take up to 24 hours depending on upload traffic for the PRIME cue. If you ever have any issues, just send a support ticket to support@loopcommunity.com

Paul,

With Mac, you can right click on the files you want to put in one zip folder and click "compress". For Windows, just right click and "send to" a compressed zip folder". After you compress those mp3s into a zip folder, head over to the homepage of LoopCommunity.com and click "upload". Click on the black PRIME icon and follow the instructions there to upload your custom audio. Hope this helps.

Paul, make sure to rename your zip folder something unique other than "archive.zip"
