Is there a fast way to export individual tracks from garageband ios ? Right now I have to mute a track, save the project, upload to iTunes....repeat, repeat, repeat. It can be a pretty long process if I have the max 18 tracks. Is there a quicker way ?

I'm not familiar with Garageband, but I don't think you can export all tracks in one sweep. However, software like Logic or Ableton Live can export all tracks with one Click. Definitely worth it. Ableton is only $99.

I am having the same issue. I am new to LC and today have been working on a custom track because it isn't available. I recorded 4 different instruments in GARAGE BAND on my MAC and when I uploaded the mp3-zip file online, they are all in one channel in prime. I don't know how to make the instruments their own channel in prime. Can anyone help?

Hi Leslie,
Did you export each instrument as it's own audio file?

I did figure it out. I had to create each one as a zip, individually named, and then put them in a folder that was the song title and also make that a zip. I have been able to make a few basic tracks for us to use when they aren't available in the LC library. Thanks!

Just to clarify, you put a zip within a zip? I tried the same thing, but it wouldn't load for me.

I just went back to look for you Jeremy. I created my song in Garage Band and then individually exported each instrument one at a time ( make sure the others are muted while exporting) and named tracks that I saved as MP3 (i.e. pads, piano, bass) and put them into all into a folder on my desk top with the name of the song. Then I made the entire folder a zip. I hope that helps.
