Hi community, just thought I'd share a good (In my opinion) free alternative to Bome's midi translator.

Called Midistroke. It does not have all the capabilities that Bome's does, but it gets the job done.

Thanks for this. We use a combo of Mac's and PC's in our service production workflow so I won't be able to use this one yet, but appreciate knowing it exists. Hopefully the author is keeping it updated–Github page is 404'd.

Hi iamkp, Yes, I used it a couple of times in a small acoustic to set to trigger slides in keynote. Works well and very reliable. Not sure if it could ever replace bomes but it does a great job for free IMO. :)
