OK, I'm new to this area and trying to read and learn. So, I'm sure this could be the first of several questions, but...
I see Prime is one way of importing and playing multitracks. However, it seems it is created for iOS exclusively. I do have and iPad; just one, and I want to use it for my music. So, does Loop Community provide an option to do the same thing on my MacBook Pro? I've been looking - how do I find it?
Thanks for your help,
You will need a different software. I would say most of us use Ableton Live. You could also use MainStage.
The real question is what do you want to do with tracks/loops? The newest version of Prime on iOS has some great features that unless you are really going to do some advanced things, you may not need anything else.
Main stage is the much cheaper alternative. I don't know much about it because I use Ableton.. My keyboard/guitar player has mainstage. It is really inexpensive, especially when you compare it to the cost of Ableton.
Thanks guys. It looks like I'm going to start out at least with MainStage to get my feet wet. I've been reading more since I posted my question and I came to the same conclusion. I was actually hoping someone would say, "Oh yeah, just use the Prime for Mac (OX) version. It's right here..." But, it looks like MainStage is that thing. For as little doe as 30 bucks, how can I go wrong, right?
I'm an experienced and avid (pun intended) ProTools user, so when it comes to creating, I'll probably us PT.
Any further comments are welcome, but I think I have my answer. :)
Buy LC MainStage template. I think it's like $10, but will save you hours.
Yeah, I read that, too. Sounds like a great buy.
Thanks so much Ronald.
