Hey guys so I'm actually gettin our church to move toward using Prime as our main ("daw") over our current use of ableton.( just due to training multiple poeole in different campuses and so forth)
My couple of concerts are when sectioning markers it has to be on the down beat and not just whenever. Which leads me to having the ability to chang or create custom time signatures and for tempo changes mid song.
For example... if you LC had the track "Glorious" by BJ Putnam and the song has the time change from 4/4 to 7/8 how would it be used arranged in Prime if we can't create custom signatures.
Another example would be "Rule" by Hillsong United. It's time signature is mot available on the app nor when you first input it.
And just as another example "Grace Like A Wave"
By Elevation Worship another tempo change.
Are there any future plans related to these concerns? I love the app it is so great, user friendly and FREE.
That's are just a couple of things that I've noticed. Thanks for looking.

I am in the same boat this week as I have a song that goes from 4/4 to 2/4 for a measure here and there and it makes cues be off. It would be awesome to be able to set markers without them snapping to the nearest measure so that I can structure the songs correctly... If that became a thing you could allow people to select a song section and change the tempo for just that section! I love the app, but this would solve EVERY problem I have run into with it! You guys are awesome! Thanks!

Same situation here. A few songs I had planned for worship service had time change in the middle of the song from 4/4 to 2/4 so I had to opt out from using that song. Any current updates?

On a different thread the guys from LC said that they are working on a future update that will allow you to do tempo and time signature changes

Question...
Im using PRIME only.. I bought Grace to Grace by Hillsong... its BPM is 60... is there anyway to get the click doubled...its so hard to stay with such a slow tempo only hearing the quarter notes. Feel like there should be an easy way of adjusting this without having to upload or manipulate it in another program.

JK just found out that you can change the click subdivision haha sorry!

Hey guys!

We definitely are working on bringing this update to PRIME. The current workarounds are difficult, but doable if you have the full MultiTrack and not just in PRIME. You could create a click track that has 1/8 or 1/4 timing to erase the accents. The upside is that you won't have any noticeable downbeats, but the upside is that the change in meter shouldn't be as crazy and the click won't sound "off". We plan to actually let you guys change the meter from section to section so that if there are any meter/tempo changes, it won't affect anything in the setup. Stay tuned!

Sounds great!

Any update on this...well...update? I am looking into using Prime for my band since it is easier to plan breaks and crowd interaction than Ableton Live. Another request I had in mind was additional Cues, such as "All In", "Build" and "Vamp". These are common ones I use in everyday worship for my church.

Hey Mike,

We don't currently have plans to bring in those cues into the cue selection. All in, build, and vamp aren't necessarily "song sections" as much as they are cues for the band dynamics. PRIME sections are mainly focused on different sections of the song itself instead of band dynamics...a little too subjective for every band. Hope this helps.

Hey Slava,

2/4 isn't a supported time signature in PRIME as of yet. I would try to put the click accent at maybe a 1/4 or perhaps do a 2/4 but you won't have the ability to add section markers. We're working on an update in PRIME for this specifically.
