Yes - the same principles would work with KeyNote or any other presentation software.

is it in anyway possible to do this with Key Notes? ProPresenter's price is just not right for a poor church in Brazil

Can Ableton and ProPresenter be run simultaneously from the same Mac? Is there a need for two computers? Thanks!

You can reach your Presenter Mac with your Ableton running Mac by Slaving them through ethernet. Here is a link that explains it in a really simple way. 3:22 into the video is when he begins talking about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eFD8G8eI30

Guys, I am completely new to loops in worship, but I have a bit more than a basic understanding of sound, Mac, and the ins & outs of how it needs to happen. I would be interested in seeing an answer to this last comment from April 2014 though:

"How do you connect your computer running Ableton from the stage to the sound booth running ProPresenter?"

Any ideas? Thx!

How do you connect your computer running Ableton from the stage to the sound booth running ProPresenter?

Yep! You can definitely use Looptimus to trigger song sections in Ableton. The trick is getting Ableton and ProPresenter to talk to one another. Check out the ProPresenter MIDI module.
