Hi Can someone please tell me how the new features in Ableton Live 9 would benefit me running loops when I'm leading worship? I currently have a master template in session view and set my softstep controller to control whichever loops I'm running on a particular Sunday. The automation in session view sounds like it could have some good uses, but I'm not sure what. If you've upgraded can you tell me what you can do in 9 that you couldn't do in 8? I'm just trying to work out what the benefits of upgrading would be? Thanks :) Lee

Session view automation alone is worth the upgrade. You can automate volume, panning or any effect parameter per clip. Also, if you create an your arrangement in arrangement view moving your clips over to session view doesnt drop all your automation. There is a new feature called Consolidate to New Scene. Workflow heaven.

..not to mention the Max for Live integration into Suite... Some AMAZING new plugins which will work their way into my set on stage. The harmony/melody to midi function is also a new tool that has opened up new creative avenues in my process of loop creation. Definitely worth a look!
