Hi, i would like to know if there's a way to map to a keyboard midi/usb controller a certain section of a loop, like to hold the key down and play or something. I was thinking along the lines of assigning a pad synth, section etc etc to keyboard... Is this possible? If so, How?

yes! you can create a clip and set it to loop the certain section of the song you're talking about. Now if you go down into clip view there will be a launch box. This tells the clip how you want to launch it. If you want to make it a momentary clip (plays when you hold a note then stops when you let go) set it to gate rather than trigger. Set the quantization to none.

Ah... I made assumptions. My bad. Your need to map that to either a key (Computer keyboard) or a MIDI controller. To make sure your MIDI controller is setup correctly, there is a great built in tutorial in the Help View under Help. Once your controller is setup correctly for remote control of Live you MIDI map the clip to a key on that controller. Go into MIDI map mode (top right) select the clip, hit the key, exit MIDI map mode.
