I just recently updated my iPad iOS to 12.4.1 and now my expression pedal does not work. I did a factory reset on my Looptimus and I also calibrated my expression pedal. I am using an M-Audio EX-P. Any thoughts?

I'd really like to purchase a robust foot controller to start and stop scenes (preferably with an expression pedal) but I'd rather not spend $299 for a Softstep or Looptimus if I don't have to. Are there any foot controllers out there that might fit this description? I'd rather not go the DIY route. Has anyone had any success with the Lexicon MPX R1, Line 6 shortboard MKii, or the Behrigner FCB1010?

I have a 4th gen iPad running iOS 10.3.3 and prime 3.2.1. I have bought an apple camera USB adaptor to connect my looptimus mini, but prime isn't recognising the looptimus mini as a midi controller. Any suggestions?

Hi I'm trying to connect my looptimus foot controller to my new mac mini where I run Ableton. It works fine on my old macbook pro, but there is no midi to the mac mini. Do the looptimus not support usb3? Best regards Gert

Does anyone use footswitch toppers with Looptimus or Looptimus mini? I believe that Barefoot Buttons V2 is the right size for the 5/16" (8.5mm) SPST footswitches, but Barefoot Buttons are a little pricey... Has anyone found a cheaper alternative that fits?

I purchased a Looptimus last week and absolutely love it. I went on your site and found the suggested expression pedals and settled on the Roland EV-5. I have calibrated the pedal (thanks to your handy youtube channel) and have midi mapped it accordingly (doing it just like Matt did it on the YouTube Video with the master fader). However, the pedal is acting just like the buttons on the looptimus do and either turning ON the master fader or turning it OFF. No fading like in the video, what am I doing wrong?

I’m running Prime on an iPad Air2 and just got my Looptimus Mini. I’m having 2 issues. First, I’m having trouble mapping the buttons to anything other than play, stop, advance. I’m also not sure about switching modes on the Mini. Can you expand on what you mean by the sequence you prescribe? Hold the I button down as you’re plugging it in - does Prime need to be open and the current app in use when you do this? Do we get any message indicating what mode the pedal is in or that we’ve changed modes? Also, I”m not understanding exactly what you mean by 2-5 seconds vs. 1-5 seconds or 3-5 seconds. Maybe I’m just not reading it correctly; but how would you differentiate 2-5 from 3-5 seconds if you’re counting up? They all have the same minimum amount, right? 2nd problem I’m having: After about a minute, I get the message “This Accessory Not Supported By This iPad” then the pedal gets kicked off and I have to restart Prime and plug in the controller again in order for it to work - with the same result. Prior to using Prime, I was using GO Button with a controller. I would get the same message, but after dismissing it, the controller would continue to work with no issues. Thanks for your help.

Can I use a different foot controller? I have an AirTurn QUAD. Can this be used instead of the looptimus?

I am trying to hook up the Looptimus control to our loop rig at church and no matter what I try I can not get anything to work. Here is our current set-up before Looptimus. I am running our stems on through app on iPad Air2. Coming from the iPad lightning port I have an official Apple camera adapter. From the camera adapter is a USB cable connected to a Powered USB hub. From the powered USB hub is a second USB cable connecting the hub to our Presonus Audiobox 1818vsl interface. This is connected to a bank of 8 DI boxes via 1/4" cables and then on to the FOH mixing console via snake. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UZemhi4IHZm_dDxmTbOKBPRloYpT98SB/view?usp=sharing Now that we have the Looptimus I am trying to incorporate it into our set-up and nothing I have tried has worked. Here is everything I have tried. Scenario 1 https://drive.google.com/file/d/152PNfoSUaEV9cE6JnRqA1T2pcwnNwxzG/view?usp=sharing Scenario 2 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Tokf1Oshfa7BABwP8pfWK6pfMHa21Fjm/view?usp=sharing Scenario 3 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1guy_mUYbhGHDDv5bZ5okTIdHPgTSlg7E/view?usp=sharing Please help, any suggestions? We also have a Tascam Celesonic US-20x20 interface as well.

I have to midi map my worship sets to use the pads and cross fade into songs. Once I started doing this the expression pedal stopped working. I’ve calibrated it several times and made sure it was “ON” in prime but it won’t adjust. When I click on MIDI to assign the master volume and move the expression up and down nothing gets assigned. I have the original looptimus. Any suggestions? Thanks all, Brad
