Looptimus MIDI controllers are compatible with any MIDI-capable software including Prime, Ableton LIve, and more and are class compliant MIDI devices, meaning they can connect to any hardware that supports driverless connections (including Mac, iPad, iPhone, Windows, etc.)

Simple, plug and play connectivity to any hardware that supports driverless connections (including Mac, iPad, iPhone, Windows, etc.) A USB cable is included with your Looptimus. You can use your own cable up to 15 ft in length. Lengths greater than 15 ft may experience performance issues.

Looptimus+ and Looptimus Mini+ will both last at least 24 hours with a healthy battery. Non "+" Looptimus controllers do not include a built-in battery.

Looptimus+ and Looptimus Mini+ can connect to host devices over Bluetooth from up to 30 feet away, depending on the environment and line of sight. You may be able to successfully connect over greater distances.

Looptimus+ and Looptimus Mini+ charge via USB, taking about 8 hours to fully charge. Looptimus+ can also be charged with a 9V-2A CENTER POSITIVE adapter. The use of any power supply other than 9V-2A CENTER POSITIVE supplies is not supported and could hurt the battery and/or damage the device.

On an iPad using the Prime App you can connect directly in Prime by heading to Prime Settings > MIDI. To connect to a Mac, turn on Looptimus, open the Audio MIDI Setup App on your Mac, click Window at the top and Show MIDI Studio. Then click the Bluetooth icon at the top of the window, and click Connect next to the name of the Looptimus controller. Looptimus / Looptimus+ can send default MIDI notes or Program Changes. Looptimus Mini+ / Looptimus Mini can send default MIDI notes, Program Changes or Control Changes.

Open your normal bluetooth settings on your device and select "Looptimus Keyboard" that appears. Click "Pair" if prompted.

With PAD mode, Looptimus / Looptimus+ transforms into a MIDI piano for your feet. You can use it to control the Tonic Pad Player in prime. Or, connect Looptimus to another music software, then enable a virtual instrument, such as a pad. The Next and Previous buttons allow you to select your desired key. Once you choose your key, the 1-6 buttons on the Looptimus will trigger the corresponding chord. You can also change the octave by pressing and holding down the Next button.

Yes! You can connect a Mini / Mini+ to a Looptimus / Looptimus+ via the gold expression jack on the larger pedal using a stereo balanced TRS cable. This allows you to add more buttons per bank, stand alone buttons, and more.

Any Expression Pedal will work with a Looptimus Controller. Volume pedals will not work. We recommend the Roland EV-5 Expression Pedal.

For Looptimus / Looptimus+, press and hold the STOP button until you see "def" on the LED screen. Click the Next button to cycle to PAD or Program Change (PC) mode. For Looptimus Mini / Mini+, while plugging in your controller, press and hold down button 1 for default mode, 2 for Program Change mode or 3 for Control Change mode.

Yes, with the Looptimus+ and Looptimus you can send MIDI out over a 5-pin MIDI cable. The same data is sent over both USB and 5-pin MIDI, allowing you to connect to two different devices, if you'd like.

The Minis do not have a way to rest them, but the Looptimus and Looptimus+ can be factory reset. Hold down the A & D buttons on the controller when you are plugging in your USB cable. When the LED screen flashes 888 your Looptimus has been reset to factory settings.
