Russ Parrish is a singer/songwriter Nashville native who moved to Minnesota. Influenced by artists and bands like Jon Foreman of Switchfoot, NEEDTOBREATHE, and Phil Wickham his desire is to write and play songs of hope shining a light in a dark and broken world. Russ has won several awards including the Grand Prize Winner of the 2018 John Lennon Songwriting Contest Session - 1 in the Gospel category, the 1st Place winner of the Minnesota Sate Fair Amateur Talent Contest 2017, and Honorable Mention in American Songwriter Magazine's lyric contest which can be found in the 2018 July/August issue.
