We are a worship band based out of Sugar Land, TX, and we love serving the church through our music. NOVUM is the latin word for "new," and taking after the approach of the New Evangelization, we aren't trying to reinvent the wheel, but use our music and art to bring about a new or different experience for those we serve. We seek to do this beyond our studio work, by playing worship nights, retreats, youth rallies, or house shows. Through our publisher, we created a songbook that incorporates lead sheets, chord charts, and even chord diagrams for those who want to pick up an instrument and learn to play. Each of our songs comes from an authentic prayer, and to take our listeners deeper, we have a reflection book, with scripture and reflection questions for each song. We even had a local artist and good friend of ours pray with the album and contribute original drawings, so our music can become more three-dimensional. Our music is our ministry. We strive to do our best and pour everything we have into what we do, but we do it for the glory of God and not ourselves.
