The Block Worship is a diverse team of musicians and creatives from The Block Church in Philadelphia, PA, USA. In April 2017 their first single, “Sing Jesus” was released, and in September 2017, their debut EP, “Heaven Sings Along” was released on all digital platforms. Singles "Christ In Me", "For The Future" and "Overflow" had record-breaking sales each, and available now is their latest EP, "Humanity / Majesty". “I always knew we would be creating music from this house,” says lead Pastor Joey Furjanic, who founded The Block Church in 2014. “We feel called to share our creativity and steward our talents well, to the greater community—that’s what this is for…not to make ourselves known, but to glorify God.” The Block Worship takes musical inspiration from various sources, including modern worship music, top songs from radio, gospel artists, and from the collective writers’ individual musical tastes.
