How do I re-install Prime?

If you're experiencing an issue with Prime, we recommend deleting the app entirely from your device and re-installing a fresh copy from the app store. Any issues you are experiencing with Prime will be solved by deleting the app and re-installing a fresh copy. iPad & iPhone Instructions 1.) Press and hold on the app to delete it. Press the "x" to delete the app. 2.) Go to the app store and download Prime again 3.) Make sure you have an Internet connection and login with your Loop account. 4.) When you download songs, you'll see an option called "Original". Tap on that. It will load the songs into your setlist. Mac Instructions 1.) Delete the app from your Applications folder. 2.) Go to User/Library/Containers and delete the folder "com.loopcommunity.PRIMEMAC" 3.) Empty your Trash 4.) Go to the app store and download Prime again 5.) Login with your username. When you download songs, you'll see an option called "Original". Click on that to add the song to your setlist.

How do I use an expression or volume pedal with Prime?

Prime is compatible with expression pedals, but not volume pedals. We recommend the Roland EV-5. To use an expression pedal with Prime: 1. Connect the expression pedal to your MIDI controller. 2. Connect your MIDI controller to Prime. 3. Hit the MIDI button at the top of Prime 4. Click the white box that appears over the Master Fader. 5. Press the Expression pedal down 6. Click the MIDI button again to save the mapping. Using an expression pedal allows you to control the volume of your tracks in Prime!

What is Prime?

Prime is a free app we designed for playing back all of your tracks! It's available for MacOS and iOS. You can easily customize song arrangements, instrument volume, change the key, tempo and more! All of your purchases from Loop are available to you in Prime. It is hands-down the easiest way to run tracks in live performance.

Can I change the arrangement of a song?

Yes! Editing the arrangement of your tracks in Prime is simple. For iPad and Mac, select Edit Song, then Edit Arrangement. On iPhone, go to your Prime settings and select Edit Arrangement. You can double click/tap on a section to delete it or choose to add a new section. You can also drag and drop sections to change the order. Once you are finished, click Done to save the arrangement.

My tracks aren't playing in Prime

Try deleting the song and re-downloading it. Do this by tapping on "Add Songs", swipe left on the song that is giving you trouble and choose "Delete". Tap on it again to re-download it to your device.

How do I upload tracks to Prime Cloud?

We make this easy for you. With Prime Cloud, you can upload your own audio to use and customize in Prime. Simply click the "Upload" button at the top of the website and choose "Personal" as the track type. Follow the instructions carefully and in no time, all of your audio will be available to you within Prime.

I hear the click bleeding in Prime.

If you hear the click coming through the right channel into the house while using Prime, here is what you should check: 1. Make sure PAN is selected in your Prime settings, not STEREO. 2. Turn the gain down on your soundboard to see if the bleeding goes away. 3. It may be the stereo breakout cable you are using. Try a different cable and see if the click is panned correctly.

Prime doesn't see my MIDI device

Prime will work with any MIDI controller that sends default MIDI notes. Prime will not work with a controller that sends Control Changes. When connecting a controller to Prime on an iPad or iPhone, make sure you are using the official Apple brand lightning to USB adapter to connect the USB cable.

Is Prime available for Android?

Prime is only available for iOS & MacOS

How do I transpose a track in Prime?

To transpose a track in Prime on Mac or iPhone, simply click the arrows in the bottom right corner to change the key. If you are using Prime on an iPhone, click the music note at the bottom and scroll to the key you want and click Done. It's easy to transpose your tracks in Prime.

I'm not seeing my tracks in Prime!

After signing into Prime with your Loop Community account, simply click on "add song" to see all of your purchased songs.

How do I import my own audio?

We make this easy for you. With Prime Cloud, you can upload your own audio to use and customize in Prime. Simply click the "Upload" button at the top of the website and choose "Personal" as the track type. Follow the instructions carefully and in no time, all of your audio will be available to you within Prime.

What songs will show up in Prime?

When you first purchase Prime, you will have one track already in your track list. To add more songs, go to LoopCommunity.com and purchase your tracks. If you purchase the Prime Only version or the File Download version, the song will show up in your song list in Prime after you complete the purchase. You can also upload your own custom audio to the Prime Cloud and that will also show up in Prime.

General Issues

Many issues with Prime can be resolved by deleting the app from your device and re-installing a fresh copy from the app store. If you still have issues, please contact our support team with your device info and any other information that will help us resolve the problem.

How do I connect this to my soundboard?

Simple! For beginners, we recommend connecting your device to your soundboard using a 1/8" headphone to dual 1/4" jacks. The Click in Prime is automatically panned to the LEFT, and the instrument Tracks are panned RIGHT. For more advanced users, we recommend using the Track Rig interface. Track Rig gives you 8 XLR outputs that you can send Prime tracks out of.
